providing financial services. From 1986 to 1996,
Mr. Lovejoy was counsel to, among others, the
Maryland State Bank Commissioner and the Commissioner
of Consumer Credits.

Mortgages "
Come
learn more about a reverse mortgages and how
it is a federally insured loan that allows a
homeowner age 62 or better to borrow against
the equity in their home without creating a
monthly payment.

As President of Academy Mortgage, LLC, is a
nationwide mortgage company specializing in
the Reverse Mortgage for seniors. Mr. McVearry,
who holds a degree in Finance from Towson University,
has been working with the Reverse Mortgage program
since 1990. In addition to meeting clients in
the comfort of their homes. He has been on the
Board of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders
Association (NRMLA) and has appeared on several
radio and television shows to discuss the nuances
of the Reverse Mortgage program.

the Brokers Forms designed by Ms. Corwin.

Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander,

Ms. Corwin is widely respected
for her expertise in federal and state mortgage
banking and mortgage brokering issues. Since
1982, Ms. Corwin has concentrated her practice
in the financial institution regulatory area
and in the area of consumer finance. She is
a frequent lecturer on these topics.

A
discussion of forthcoming changes to the Federal
Housing Administration loan programs, the current
and proposed state of the Department of Veterans
Affairs home loan guarantee programs, and a
review of proposed and recently enacted Federal
laws and regulations affecting the mortgage
banking industry. (Approved for 2 hours

Brian J. Chappelle is a founding partner
of Potomac Partners- a Washington-based consulting
firm specializing in mortgage finance industry
presentation. Prior to forming Potomac Partners,
Mr. Chappelle was Senior Staff Vice President
for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America
(MBA), and earlier, was Director, Single Family
Development Division, of the Federal Housing
Administration.

with Fannie Mae's Mortgage Products & Technology
Tools"
In
this course, learn how Fannie Mae's mortgage
products and technology tools can assist borrowers
who want to purchase a new home or refinance
out of a higher-payment existing loan. Learn
from an industry leader!

by: Dawn Piazza, Fannie Mae Consultant
Dawn Piazza, Consultant with Fannie
Mae's Community and Multicultural Lending Team,
joined the sales team in April of 2001. Dawn
is responsible for consulting and training mortgage
brokers/bankers, and lenders on the use of Desktop
Originator and the opportunities available through
Fannie Mae's products. Dawn manages the Illinois
and Washington/ Baltimore markets. Dawn has
been instrumental in increasing awareness of
the opportunities in minority origination with
Fannie Mae's lending partners, through speaking
sessions at national mortgage broker and realtor
trade shows, and through continuous support
of customers in her markets.

- 4:30 p.m.- 2007 Exhibition
Learn
about the latest products and services available
to the mortgage brokers of Maryland as you make
your way through this years exhibition.
Meet and reestablish relationships with Lenders,
Wholesalers, Appraisers, Insurance Companies,
Credit Reporting Agencies, and Software Manufacturers
to name a few. Lunch will be served from 12:30
- 2:00 p.m. Each exhibitor will have a supply
of MAMP Bucks to give to the brokers
and loan officers who visit their booth. These
bucks can be used to buy lunch or drinks in
the Exhibit Hall. Then, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.,
those brokers attending the trade show only
will be admitted.
3:30
p.m.- "Surviving
the State Audit- Implementing Effective Quality
Control "
This
course provides an in-depth examination of how
to survive audits in the mortgage industry.
The course begins with the different types of
audits and compliance issues the consumers &
industry professionals should be aware of. It
will then work through some actions you can
take to prevent from having a bad audit.(Approved
for 2 hours of Elective Continuing Education)
Presented by: John
Ricche
John has been responsible for the organization,
implementation and management of two successful
secondary marketing operations. One of the organizations
was a bank with subsidies and operations nationwide.
He has also spent his time developing and maintaining
a compliance program for 32 states to assure
compliance to federal and state regulations.
This included HUD required compliance. A comprehensive
reporting system was developed and maintained.

p.m. - "Originating
Loans the Right Way to Increase Your Referral
Business"
The
past few years have seen a significant increase
in state laws addressing issues such as predatory
lending and, more recently, stated income loans.
In this session, loan originators will learn
what is ethically correct using real life examples
of loan applications and procedures. Originators
who have followed these principles have seen
a growth in their repeat and referral customers.

Required Continuing Education)

by: Manuel Celaya, The Washington Savings
Bank
Manual started in the industry in 1989, running
a small brokerage operation in Bethesda. Several
years later he worked with Irwin Mortgage (1999)
and then in 2001 went to Embassy Mortgage (broker)
to structure operations (Embassy is a large
broker targeting "emerging markets").
He answered Sue Grant's call to join her at
nBank, NA in 2004, following her to TWSB as
a member of her team.

TO
THE BALTIMORE CONVENTION CENTER
Take 95 to Baltimore Exit 53 (395N Downtown/Inner
Harbor). 395 becomes Howard Street. Continue two
(2) blocks and then turn right on Pratt Street.
Continue on Pratt Street two (2) blocks and the
Convention Center will be on the right hand side.
MAMP's exhibition is in
Exhibition Hall G (Sharp Street).
PARKING
Various parking options are available in the area
including hotel lots in the Marriott, Hyatt, Sheraton
(one block), Harbor Court (one block) and a private
lot on Conway at Light St. (one block). Don't
miss a minute of this year's exciting conference
and exposition come early to secure the
best spot.

Site Reservations
Advance
registration will close on February 23, 2007 and
must be received with payment in the MAMP office
by that date in order to be guaranteed. On site
registration will be open in the Otterbein Lobby
of the Baltimore Convention Center on March 2,
2007 at 7:45 a.m.
Cancellation
Policy
All registrants must include appropriate
payment to be accepted and guaranteed. Registrations
are nontransferable. A full refund will be granted
if a cancellation is received in writing by February
16, 2007. If a cancellation is received between
February 17 and February 23, 2007 there will be
a $25 cancellation fee; cancellations received
after February 24 will not receive a refund.
