What
is the class about?
The class is a full day in which we
go through every item on the NAMB study
guide. I specifically focus on all of
the math aspects you need to know. THIS
IS NOT A CRAM CLASS WHERE YOU GO OVER
HUNDREDS OF OLD TEST QUESTIONS, although
we do go through a practice test in
class.
Who
should take the class?
If you have at least two years in the
mortgage industry, you can take the
CRMS exam. If you have at least five
years in the mortgage industry you can
take the CMC Exam (Time in the industry
is not the only qualifying factor, see
the Applicant Handbook on NAMB's Web
site for the full qualifying criteria).
Will
I need any other resources in addition
to this class to pass the test?
You will have everything you need to
study - you just need to provide the
study time.
Will
there be tapes or subscriptions to buy?
NO, NO, Absolutely not!
Is
the class offered with a money-back
guaranty?
Yes! If it is your first time through
the class (many people do take the class
more than once) and you do not learn
a thing, I will personally write you
a check on the spot for the price of
your admission fee.
Can
I buy my designation?
There may be other designations that
can be purchased. (You might even be
able to buy a PhD on the web!). The
CMC and CRMS you have to earn the old-fashioned
way.
Will
the certification make me more money?
There is a good chance it will, because
it will definitely separate you from
the herd. Wouldn't be nice to tell your
client you are one of the few mortgage
brokers in the country (currently only
433) that care enough about their business
and their industry to take this extra
step.
OK,
so who is this guy Guy Schwartz?
I have 22+ years experience as a mortgage
broker. I love what I do, and I make
my living as a mortgage broker; not
as an instructor or lecturer. I have
an MBA in finance, and I'm a NAMB-certified
instructor. I earned my CMC four years
ago. I was the California Association
of Mortgage Brokers Education Chair.
I walk in your moccasins.
